Spring Is Almost Here.... in Seattle....

Nothing says 'Spring is in the air' more then a splash of bright, juicy color! I was craving colors, specially after returning from sunny LA to a gray gloomy Seattle (hopefully not for much longer).... Seafoam, deep chocolate, coral, sky blue, bright red, turquoise, grass green, yellow yolk and so many others - my eyes are craving you! Luckily I am working with all these colors in my new collection! Here are some pieces of my spring/summer collection. More to come.....

Meet Joanie... I was lucky enough to work on her wedding gown. Her desire was for the gown to be unique, non-traditional, yet elegant and timeless.
Joanie, my best wishes to you and Mathew! Many happy years together to you guys! Cheers!

Wedding gown: top part of the dress is hand-crochet out of viscose ivory yarn with silk ivory lining. Dress has an empire waistline with crochet belt detail and detail in center front of the skirt and down the hem. Top layer of the skirt is white see-through silk-chiffon fabric. Lining is 100% Silk.

I tried something new....

Cheers everybody!
I hope Year of 2009 is treating you great so far. It is shaping up to be a good one.
Here is my latest creation - an evening gown I created for beautiful April. It was an exciting project. The top is crocheted with Viscose/Metallic thread. Fabric is 100% Silk. I am going to have a better photoshoot soon, but couldn't wait to share!
